Whether you're ordering a plant for yourself or sending one to someone special, we'll package it up safe and sound and send it on its way.
How do you ship plants safely?
We've created custom packaging materials that are easy on the environment to get your plants to you safely.
And, whenever possible we try to re-use shipping packaging and materials to have a lower impact on the environment.
We package your plants with the utmost of care so they arrive safely but every once in a while a package arrives not as intended.
If you receive your plants and they have been damaged (a little dirt that has shifted during delivery is perfectly normal) please contact us at info at aloegal dot ca within 48 hours of receipt, along with photos of the damaged packaging and plant, and we'll replace it or refund you.
Plant Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped out within 1-2 days of receiving them Monday through Wednesday (not including holidays). This helps to ensure that your plant doesn't spend too much time in a Postal warehouse.
Your plant will be shipped out with Canada Post, UPS or Purolator and will usually arrive within 1-5 business days depending on its destination.
Once your plants are shipped you will receive a tracking number.
If you need your plants delivered urgently please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your order.
Shipping during the Winter
**Please note that if your destination location is experiencing temperatures below zero in lead up to Valentine's Day, we will not be able to ship to that location in time. If you are unsure about shipping, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org**
During the winter months, we monitor the weather closely. We ship plants with heat packs to keep them warm when needed.
When the temperatures dip below zero we may need to hold your plants until the temperature goes back up to ship them out. If they need to be held you will receive a notification.
If you require your plants delivered urgently, please contact us before placing your order to ensure that we can deliver your plant to the destination. If you have any questions about whether or not we can ship to your city during the winter, please reach out to us at info at aloegal dot ca.
Once you receive your package, be sure to open it up immediately and follow the instructions on the Care Card provided.
